Firefox Reality Now Available on The Oculus Quest
The popular web browser, Firefox reality, is now available on the Oculus Quest.
Firefox has collaborated with content creators from around the globe to provide easy access to immersive VR experiences that can be enjoyed directly from Firefox Reality. It has several features that enhance the virtual reality experience including 360-degree video support, multi-window browsing, movie mode, and resize mode that allows you to change the size of a virtual window.
Mozilla has taken advantage of the Quest’s higher performance capabilities to deliver the best VR web browsing experience to date” says Janice Von Itter, Staff Program Manager at Mozilla.
The merging of VR and web browsing is still in its infancy and carries some limitations. However, Firefox Reality is one of a very few, specifically designed for use without a keyboard, mouse and touchscreen – making it faster and easier to get where you want to go.
Like all Firefox products, the app is free and available to download.
